Our own Fairhaven TV team is showing off their creativity and fun-loving spirit again. And their efforts got them nominated for four awards (see page 11). Take a little time to watch the entries. They are lots of fun. “The Caretaker” at Rogers School features our crew++. Melanson’s a natural! Who knew?
Honestly, it’s a hoot. Watch them all.
Good luck at the ceremony this week, kids (yeah, I called you kids).
The Fairhaven Select Board picked some photos for the annual report cover. See page 13 to see the four they chose.
The Fairhaven Housing Authority hired a new executive director. The former ED and the new ED, and the chairperson of the FHA board sat down with the Neighb News for an interview about how the authority has been doing, and where they’ll go from here. See page 12 for that.
The Fairhaven Acushnet Youth Athletics league held their banquet and handed out awards. Special thanks to Jennifer Hassey for letting us use her photos. It looks like the kids and adults had a great time.
Next week is Black History month. We have a number of related events in this week, and we’ll have more next week. So, be sure to pick up the Neighb News every week so you don’t miss anything.
There’s other stuff in here of course. While you’re looking for it, be sure to notice who our advertisers are so you can tell them you saw their ads in the Neighb News. And if you go anywhere that does not advertise with us, ask them why. It is, after all, the paper everyone actually reads.
Until next week then…see ya,
Glory to Ukraine!
Glory to the Heroes!
