Fri., 2/12, 10 a.m.–noon, Carvalho Farm, 201 Shaw Road, Fairhaven. Join our work party at Carvalho Farm for some winter maintenance on this beautiful property in Fairhaven.
We will be picking up trash/debris, removing old fencing, cutting multiflora rose (invasive plant species) and conducting several controlled burns of brush piles on the property. We will bring loppers, hand saws, trash bags, extra gloves and bolt/wire cutters for the fencing. Please bring wire/bolt cutters to tackle the fencing if you have a pair!
Please wear/bring a mask, comfortable (preferably waterproof) footwear and water, work-gloves and hand tools (if you have them).
