Fairhaven will be hopping this weekend with the annual Homecoming Day Fair on Saturday, and Fairhaven’s Pride event and Full Bloom Festival on Sunday.
Homecoming Day Fair
The 48th Annual Homecoming Day Fair, proudly sponsored by the Fairhaven Improvement Association, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, will be held in the heart of Fairhaven on Sat., 6/27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Fairhaven Homecoming Day Fair, a cherished tradition with roots dating back to 1903, was envisioned in 1975 by a group inspired by the Fairhaven Colonial Fair. This vision led to our beloved event, named the Homecoming Day Fair.
Featuring over 150 booths showcasing talented artisans and crafters from across New England. From exciting kids’ activities to nostalgic fire engine rides, immerse yourself in a day filled with art, delicious food, lively music, and captivating live entertainment. Embrace the spirit of community and tradition.

FHS Tours
Fairhaven High School Alumni President Bob Foster ’66 has been leading guided tours through the 1906 building since 2009. Normally six tours are offered from late June to mid-July. The tours are FREE and start in the Rotunda of the main entrance on the Huttleston Ave side of the building and last between 90 – 120 minutes. Admission is free and we ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes before the start time. The 2026 tours will be conducted on the following dates:

Full Bloom Fest
Full Bloom Festival uplifts the community for the 6th year in a row with this music & arts Free Family event!
On June 28 at Cushman park in Fairhaven, MA. The day will kick off at 10:00 am with a Donation based Family Yoga class to benefit this year’s charity, The Sound of a Smile.
There will be activities, vendors, and special events all day from 10 am to 8 pm. We have live music from several local bands including, Immuter, Spoiler Alert, Touch of Grey, Brainwheel, and more!
As always there will be endless options for the kids at this event! Bring the family, bring a blanket and a picnic, and get ready to spend the day in community!
