The weekly protest visibility in Fairhaven has expanded to include a message to stop the war in Iran.
Every Thursday at 6 p.m., protesters gather at the corner of Walnut and Center Streets in Fairhaven, at the intersection that includes Town Hall, Millicent Library, and Unitarian Church. It started out as a stop ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) weekly protest, and now includes the war in Iran.
The public is encouraged to attend. To learn more about different protests against the current administration in DC, find the Fairhaven Democratic Town Committee on Facebook. See page 6 for information on the No Kings 3 protest in New Bedford, which the Fairhaven DTC will be joining.
