Shellfishing in Fairhaven is open again. Allof Buzards Bya had been closed due to the excessive rain strom on 1/9 & 1/10 when the City of New Bedford emptied more than 40 million gallons of raw sewage into the outer harbor.
The shellfish beds were reopened on 1/29.
