Ernie and JoJo, the new owners of Rivers End, 7 Tarkiln Hill Rd., Acushnet, are happy to announce that they will officially open on Fri., 8/30, starting at noon.
They made the deal a couple of months ago to buy the business from Mark and Sue DeSilva, and have been waiting for the state licensing to be completed.
The local watering hole is known for its friendly atmosphere and for playing headquarters to a number of charity events throughout the year, including the annual duck race and the annual food/toy drive and motorcycle run on Thanksgiving weekend
