Award-winning Providence poets Karen Donovan and Catherine Imbriglio will read from their poetry at the Matatpoisett Library, 7 Barstwo St., on Sat., 4/20 at 2 pm, as part of the Purrington Series sponsored by the Mattapoisett Library Trust.
Karen Donovan’s latest collection of poems, Monad+Monadnock, was published by Wet Cement Press. The award-winning poet has several books of poetry to offer.
Catherine Imbriglio is the author of two books of poetry, Parts of the Mass and Intimacy
Her poetry and criticism have appeared in a variety of publications.
Both poets will have poetry books available for purchase and signing following the reading. Light refreshments will be served. Everyone is invited to attend this event celebrating Poetry Month, April.
