The Select Board race in Fairhaven continues to heat up with six people having pulled papers for two seats as of press time.
Nomination papers for all town-wide elected positions and Town Meeting are available in Fairhaven until Thursday, 2/8.
Town-wide offices require 50 signatures; town meeting requires 10 signatures from the precinct in which you are running.

The election will be held on Monday, 4/1/24. Polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Six people have now taken out papers for Select Board, with the addition this week of JP Lemieux. In addition to Mr. Lemieux, Patrick Carr, Donna McKenna, Cathy Melanson, Andrew Romano, and Andrew Saunders have also taken out papers for SB. Only Mr. Romano and Ms. McKenna had returned papers by press time.
