Donna M. Donnelly passed away on April 14, 2024 at her home in Fairhaven, Massachusetts at the age of 69. She was born on December 8, 1954 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. She was formerly active as a Town of Fairhaven Meeting Member and a graduate of Fairhaven High School. She retired as a legal secretary for Perry, Hicks & Crotty LLP.
She loved music and could often be found at summertime concerts in the town center. She was passionate about the Red Sox, Celtics and the Buffalo Bills sports teams. In her spare time she enjoyed playing cards and puzzling with people in her social community.
She is the daughter of the late Raymond Bachand of Osterville, Massachusetts and Theresa Reynolds of Fairhaven, Massachusetts. She had two late brothers Robert and Stephen Bachand.
She is survived by her mother Theresa Reynolds, husband David D. Donnelly to whom she was married to for the past 42 years, 3 daughters, Faith Albert of New Bedford, Trisha Donnelly of Colorado, Molly Donnelly of Fairhaven; sisters Cheryl and her husband Steven Alves, Marianne and her husband David R. Donnelly, brother Raymond Bachand and his wife Penny; Granddaughters Samantha, Erika, Hailey, and several nieces and nephews.
Fondly remember Donna whenever you hear her favorite song “Imagine” by John Lennon, she would have wanted it that way.
