It’s Robert Scott ( Bob) McConnell here from beautiful Fairhaven in the Second Bristol and Plymouth District, including Dartmouth, New Bedford, Acushnet and Mattapoisett. We are located here on Buzzards Bay, a seaside community in Southeastern Massachusetts.
I’m running for Republican State Committee Man and will appear on the Presidential Primary Ballot March 5, 2024. My intention is to continue to grow the dynamic coalition we are building in our District. Since my election to chair of the Fairhaven Republican Town Committee in November 2021 the change, growth, participation and involvement of not only the members of our growing committee, but throughout the surrounding towns has been amazing. It’s obvious to a great many people something is happening. People are networking throughout the local Republican Town Committees, as a result sincere lasting friendships and a real sense of community are developing.
I wanted to tell you this good news first, because these activities are my goals, desire and passion. My message is clear and simple to understand: “Civic awareness and Civic participation”. I want as many caring people as possible to know who is responsible for representing their interest and how through minimal effort they can effect change.
My hope is this will encourage participation. Empowerment through participation requires effort, but your participation will reap immediate results through a sense of well being. Which leads to longevity and good health. I’ll be most grateful for your vote March 5th.
