Lifeguard coverage at the Town Beach on West Island in Fairhaven ends on Saturday, 8/22, two weeks before Labor Day, due to budget cuts. The portable toilets will also be removed. The beach parking lot will be open for parking and people may use the beach, but there will be no staff on hand. Use at your own
