Bueno Supports Powers
My friends, I am blessed beyond belief to consider myself a Fairhaven townie. We live in a beautiful community filled with rich history, beautiful scenery, and amazing, compassionate, neighbors.
In this past election, I wrote a letter supporting my friend Bob Espindola for another term on the Select Board and I am grateful our message was sent loud and clear at the voting booth that a candidate’s integrity, empathy and kindness matters above all else. I am here once again with that same sense of urgency to ask for your support in voting YES for the recall election AND to vote for Stasia Powers.
Stasia is a visionary, servant leader with over 14 years of budget and public relations experience from her School Committee and nonprofit roles in the community.
During her tenure, Stasia has been a cheerleader for communication and transparency on issues such as MCAS/PARC, facilities use and Oxford school mold.
Most recently, Stasia has effectively communicated with various members of our community about pandemic school policies and students’ emotional, social and mental wellness. She is able to relate and listen authentically to constituents’ concerns and connect individuals to resources and departments in order to feel seen and heard.
Not only do I have the pleasure of serving with her on the School Committee, but Stasia is a true friend whose integrity, compassion and empathy shine through. To me, Fairhaven needs a leader with these traits more than ever to move us out of this pandemic stronger and more united as one community.
Fairhaven, let’s not lose this opportunity to bring unity and a fresh perspective onto our Select Board. On July 26th, we have a chance to vote for a visionary, experienced leader. Vote for Stasia Powers — Fairhaven Select Board. Thank you!
