Miles and Kuechler Bring Complementary Strengths
I write to offer my wholehearted support for Miles Grant and my dear friend Pam Kuechler for Fairhaven Select Board.
Miles is an experienced communicator and an active, committed member of our community. He is not someone who will merely appear twice a month to cast a vote, he is a doer.
Miles has shown to be a strong voice on the Planning Board. As an engaged member of the Livable Streets Committee, Miles has worked tirelessly to bring attention to safety issues on Route 6. His advocacy on this issue, particularly meaningful to me after the loss of a close family friend last year, demonstrates the care, follow-through, and practical problem-solving our town needs.
Pam Kuechler is, in my view, the most qualified candidate to run for Select Board in many years. I have known Pam for about 20 years. She leads a large, impactful nonprofit (PACE) and served on the School Committee for 15 years, eight of those as chair. Pam understands complex budgets, knows how to build consensus, and handles difficult situations with steady judgment. She is the voice of reason who finds common ground and leads effectively; our town has benefited and will benefit greatly from her leadership.
Miles and Pam bring complementary strengths: Miles’ grassroots engagement and focus on safety and livability, and Pam’s experience managing large organizations, budgets, and collaborative public service. Electing them will strengthen the Select Board with practical action, thoughtful leadership, and a clear commitment to Fairhaven’s well-being.
I urge you to support Miles Grant and Pam Kuechler for Fairhaven Select board on June 9.
Stasia Powers, Fairhaven
