NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
In accordance with the Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A Section 5, you are hereby notified of a public hearing.
The Acushnet Planning Board will hold a hearing on Thursday April 16, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., to consider a proposed amendment to the Town of Acushnet General By-laws Article VIII Zoning Section 7.2.R Floodplain Overlay District. The proposed amendment is summarized as follows: to include the flood A zones.
This meeting will be held hybrid, at the Board of Selectmen’s Meeting Room, Town Hall, 122 Main Street, Acushnet, MA 02743, and over Teams.
The text of these proposed amendments may be viewed at the office of the Town Clerk and the Planning Board office, at Acushnet Parting Ways, 130 Main Street, MA 02743, during normal business hours. All persons, parties, or corporations interested therein may appear and be heard in relation thereto.
