ACUSHNET CONSERVATION COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Acushnet Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Police Station Conference Room located at 64 Middle Road, Acushnet, Massachusetts.
• Public Hearing RDA – Slocum Street Project/Town of Acushnet A Request for Determination was filed by the Town of Acushnet, James Kelley – Town Administrator for Slocum Street Infrastructure Improvements Project. The applicant proposes water main, stormwater and roadway improvements within the Slocum Street and South Main Street rights-of-way. Work results in temporary disturbance to Riverfront Area and the 100-foot buffer zone. The applicant is represented by Claire Hoogeboom of LEC Environmental Consultants, Inc. Plan name is “Slocum Street Infrastructure Improvements Plan” dated February 2024.
