Work has begun on the Oxford School project. The first step is demolishing the 1951 addition to make way for the new construction. The old building and the new combined will house 53 affordable senior housing units for “active seniors.” This week the exterior was stripped of its bricks and the inside was being demolished when this shot was taken on Tuesday, 4/20/21. The demolition of the exterior walls should happen at the end of this week.
