Elizabeth Hastings Middle School in Fairhaven collects toys for the US Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program every year, giving countless children a Christmas that includes fun toys under the tree.
On April 1 US Marine Corps Reserve member Ken Gendreau recognized Grade 7 teacher and National Junior Honor Society advisor Lisa Cadima for her efforts, presenting her with a Certificate of Appreciation “for outstanding support of the United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program.”
