The great annual holly tree feed! So glad I got to see it. Every once in a while, I miss it.
Hundreds of birds descend upon my magnificent holly tree and gobble up the berries. I can’t get enough of it. Luckily it happened on a Wednesday and I was able to take the time to watch and take pics. See page 12 for some fun shots of Robins feasting on the berries.
Looks like the Selectboard will interview the last woman standing for the Town Administrator position (see page 3). And the town hired a new Council on Agign Director, too.
The election is still heating up a little here and there (see page 4). Another person threw his hat into the ring. That’s seven people for the three seats, with five of them returning papers. Ooh…I love a race. Last day to pull papers is today’s cover date, 2/10.
And the Board of Public Works has responded to the Tree Warden’s idea that the BPW can’t handle the tree work. See page 20 for that.
We have more Black History Month connections this week. See page 18.
There’s other good stuff in here, of course, so take your time and look through.

And enjoy this warm weather. I’m afraid it’s just a tease. But…spring is getting closer every day.
Just 31 days to Daylight Saving Time!
Until next week then…see ya
