The people of Minnesota have my utmost respect and admiration. I am in awe. Truly in awe. The revolution is happening, and it has started in Minnesota.

They are fighting back to protect each other and save our democracy.

If we were watching any of this unfold in another country we would be outraged. We cannot claim any moral ground anymore anywhere in the world. How can we, when we have jackbooted thugs snatching people off the streets, yanking people out of their cars, sometimes through broken windows, and dragging people out of their homes?

Get these ICE thugs out of our cities and towns. Period.

The agency needs to be abolished.

They took an old man out of his house, into the cold, wearing only his shorts and slippers. No shirt. Minnesota in January. Then they realized he was a citizen with no record. They didn’t fix his door or unransack his house. They just humiliated him, scared him, and hurt him.

They tear-gassed a six-month-old inside of a car. Let that sink in: A six-month old baby.

They invaded the home of a Washington Post reporter, someone who is protected by the First Amendment with case law supporting a journalist’s right to protect her sources going back decades.

And now Greenland. Really? An ally. Part of NATO.

I remember when Trumpers said he wouldn’t start wars. Remember that? Now we have seven places he has attacked and he wants to send paratroopers to Minneapolis. Paratroopers to an American city. The guy does not even know what it means to be an American.

We have some meeting coverage for you. See Fairhaven Select Board on page 3. Fairhaven also hired an assessor. See page 4 for that.

Acushnet got their Charter change approved (see page 18); and they’re holding a Complete Streets pop-up to give residents a chance to talk about problem streets and intersections in town. See page 11 for that.

We also have some pictures from the FHS Blue Devils boys basketball team. Young Caden is going to be sending in more, too. See page 13 for that. And if you see him around town, be sure to say “he.”

There’s more in here, of course. As you page through to find in all, be sure to notice who our advertisers are so you can tell them you saw their ads in the Neighb News.

God Save Our Republic…or at least help Minnesotans save it.

Until next week, then, see ya,

Glory to Ukraine!
Glory to the Heroes!
