Crazy-fun weekend coming up. We have the “biggest little feast” this weekend; the Teddy Bear parade which had to be rescheduled;, and the annual Acushnet Car Cruise (it’s BAAACK). See page 3 for details on those events.
As fun as it all sounds, though, it means summer is winding down. Alas…time marches on, huh?
And school opened this week. So, if you had any delusions that summer isn’t over, think again.
And the state primary is on Tuesday. This isn’t the presidential race, this is for state offices, including Representative and Senator, so get out there and vote! See page 3 for that.
That storm was a doozy, wasn’t it? See page 13 for a couple of cool pictures from my neighbor. Ouch. That stuff is tough.
We don’t usually get hail around here, so Mother Nature must have decided to show us who’s boss. Okay, we get it. Thank you….you go now.
Oops…almost forgot the Select Board story and our cover story. SB is on page 4, and it’s got some stuff we couldn’t fit in last week.
Our cover story is one I’ve been meaning to do for awhile. The Wastewater treatment plant in Fairhaven has been needing an upgrade, and it is underway. See page 13 for that.
Make sure you enjoy one of the great events coming up. And let ‘em know the Neighb News sent you!
There’s a lot of other stuff in here, of course, including lots of happenings. Make sure you notice who our advertisers are so you can tell them you saw their ads in the Neighb News.
Until next week then, see ya,
Glory to Ukraine!
Glory to the Heroes!
