Oh boyohboyohboy! The Big Buffoon appointed the housing guy to be Director of National Intelligence. Yeah, that guy, the one who wants to make Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac private.
Oh…I feel so safe, don’t you?
Meanwhile, the kids graduated from High School (see page 16), with all the promise of a bright future.
The speeches gave some good advice, kids, but I’m going to add one more thing: Don’t be that guy….the housing guy playing spy….be what Kulak said you should be. You are the future of America, and the sooner you grow up, the better off we’ll be (I hope).
Oh, and one more thing, as you go off into the world on your own: Choose your friends well. The company you keep says a lot more about you than you think.
Choose friends who will stick by you, but will try to stop you if you’re getting in trouble.
Not like those idiots who broke into the school just to scratch up the wood (see page 23).
The names haven’t been released yet, but we mostly know who they are. And, the seniors were not allowed to walk on Sunday. They were not able to enjoy that beautiful day in the sun. And, it’s only going to get worse. Such foolishness. The thought of our country being in the hands of THOSE guys (and gals) is not comforting at all.
Fairhaven’s election is Tuesday (see page 3).
Elections have consequences so get out there and vote. I was reminded this week about a couple of elections that were tie votes and we had to go to court. Let’s not let that happen, okay? Get out there and vote. I’m not endorsing, and I’m not trying to influence anyone about the override vote. But, please, if your vote is just some knee jerk reaction to never paying taxes, then, please look again. There’s all kinds of information out there.
