Acushnet Police Department posted a picture on Facebook of a car on its roof, with a plea to slow down in snowy/icy conditions. On Saturday, 1/6, Acushnet firefighters needed the assistance (once again) of Fairhaven Fire Department’s Ladder #1 for a chimney fire on Crompton Street. Fire kills pig, destroys two sheds in Acushnet
At 9:36 p.m. on Thursday, 1/11/18, Acushnet firefighters responded to a reported shed fire on Cedar Hill Drive. On arrival units found two sheds fully involved with two others threatened.
