St Mary’s Church in Fairhaven, 440 Main St., is holding several events open to the public.
• Sun., 10/1, noon, Blessing of the Pets, in front of the church. All pets must leashed or in carriers. You may even bring a photo of your pet to be blessed.
• Sun., 10/1, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Community Blood Drive Sponsored by the American Red Cross in the Parish Hall.
• Sun., 10/8, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Book Cafe. Books for everyone. Hard cover books $1.00 Paper backs .50 cents. Pastries & beverages available for purchase at $1.00 each.
• Sun., 10/22, 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Annual Parish Family Breakfast, Raffle & Bake sale. Our Menu: Eggs, potatoes, ham, sausage, pancakes, plain or blueberry, fruit cocktail, juice, water, coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Tickets remain at $10.00 for Adults, $5.00 for Children 5-10 Under 5 years old no charge. Tickets are available at all Masses and at the rectory during regular office hours. Limited tickets at door.
