Ash trees on Walnut Street removed

June 12, 2024 by Staff Writer

As discussed at the Fairhaven Select Board meeting on 5/13/24, several Ash Trees on Walnut Street near the Unitarian Chuch, across the street from the Millicent Library, were taken down last week. Contractors from Newcomb’s Tree Service took down the large, very old trees on 6/3/24 because they were diseased and in danger of coming down in a storm, according to Fairhaven Tree Warden Don Collasius.
