Library Ultimate Road Trip
The Acushnet Public Library is pleased to announce they will be participating in the SAILS Ultimate Road Trip from Tuesday, April 18 through Saturday, April 29. Patrons who visit during the event period can check-in at the Circulation Desk for a copy of the Ultimate Road Trip map and receive a stamp.
The Acushnet Public Library will offer the following programs as part of the SAILS Ultimate Road Trip:
• 4/21 @ 3:30 pm The Toe Jam Variety Show under the pavilion
• 4/24 @ 2 pm Movie Matinee – A Man Called Otto
• 4/29 @ 12 pmHot Club Cheese Roll Concert under the pavilion

The SAILS Ultimate Road Trip encourages patrons to visit their local libraries and see the local sights. Take the Ultimate Library Road Trip by exploring libraries in the SAILS Library Network between April 18 and 29. Your SAILS Library card works at them all so feel free to borrow something while you’re there. Many Libraries will have special events or a treat for Library Road Trippers during these two weeks.

Treasures in the Attic
Join Bob Martin from the New Bedford COA programs, Buried in Treasure and Fresh Start, on Wednesday, May 3rd, 11:00 a.m. at the Acushnet Council on Aging and Senior Community Center, 59 1/2 So. Main Street, as he discusses the state of collectibles and the valuables that may be hiding in your attic.

The Neighb News will give all candidates for townwide public office in Acushnet a chance to get their message out. You may submit an article of approximately 500 words, with a picture, and we will publish at no charge before the election.
