In the week leading up to this year’s Memorial Day, the Cub Scouts of Pack 51/Acushnet spent time working with members of the Acushnet VFW placing flags on the graves of veterans and learning to properly show respect to the American Flag.
The Cubs also spent time learning why we honor Memorial Day and why we should be always thankful for the sacrifices of the members of our Armed Forces in keeping our country safe, secure and free.
