Notice is hereby given that the Fairhaven Conservation Commission will conduct a Public Hearing pursuant to the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act (M.G.L. c. 131, § 40) and the Code of the Town of Fairhaven Chapter 192, Wetlands Bylaw. The meeting will be located at Town Hall, 40 Center Street, Fairhaven, MA.

Copies of the applications and site plans may be viewed at the Conservation Office in Town Hall, located at 40 Center Street, Fairhaven, MA and links to the applications are on the Town Website under current filings.
a. CON 023-589: 50 Middle Street, Map 9, Lot 1 &116A Request for Determination of Applicability filed by Foth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC to perform a subsurface geotechnical investigation at the project site to characterize existing subsurface soil conditions and collect engineering data necessary to support the planning, evaluation, and design of future waterfront improvements. Work to include (7) over-water geotechnical borings advanced between 5 & 80 feet with 10’ bedrock cores at (2) water boring locations. (7) borings will be over water adjacent to existing bulkhead, piers, floats, and vessel access facilities and extend into the harbor within the area of the existing working waterfront. Project falls within Land Under Ocean and Land Containing Shellfish.
b. CON 023-405, SE 023-1449: Starboard Drive (ANR 1), Map 42, Lot 9B Request for an Amended Order of Conditions filed by Robert S. & Joyce Cummings to change the sewer disposal system leaching area from a Cultec Chamber System to an Eljen GFS Leaching System. The excavation for the leaching area will be reduced by 60%. Site falls within Land Subject to Coastal Storm Flowage, FEMA Flood Zone, VE (El.19’).
c. CON 023-590: 52 & 0 Cottonwood Street, Map 43C, Lots 120 & 122 Request for Determination of Applicability filed by Geof Shaw to construct a 12’x16’ utility shed within parcel 120 (0 Cottonwood Street). Site falls within Land Subject to Coastal Storm Flowage, FEMA Flood Zone, VE (El.20’).
