Letter The Angels of Wilding Street

June 3, 2026 by Staff Writer

L-R Brian and Lionel are the “Angels of Wilding Street,” according to neighbor, Martha Gomes, who says the two men are always willing to help those who have trouble keeping up with their properties. Submitted photo by Martha Gomes.

I would like to take a moment to acknowledge my two neighbors (Brian & Lionel), who live on Wilding Street in Fairhaven.

They repeatedly help others  (myself included). Whenever they see one of us needing help, they stop and give that help. Today, they are mowing lawn and trimming the hedges for a neighbor who has not been able to work in his yard.

I would love to send to each of them a big THANK YOU.

They are the angels of Wilding Street.

Martha Gomes, Fairhaven
