Miles Grant is a True Friend
My name is Jon Camara and I’m a member of the Livable Streets Committee and a volunteer with the Wood School Bike Bus. I’ve known Miles Grant for several years now. Miles has organized several bicycle meet up events around town and through these experiences we got to see the town from a unique perspective. Getting out on bikes and riding through town we got to see how design and current infrastructure makes for unsafe roads and neighborhoods due to cars being the main focal point. Miles truly wants what’s best for the town. He wants it safer for all, pedestrians, bikers and motorists.
Furthermore, I’ve come to know and understand the kind of man Miles is through the many s’mores nights he has hosted or hanging out with our kids at the pool at the Seaport Inn.
First and foremost he is a family man. He’s fantastic with his kids and his pets. He’s also a fantastic friend. Oftentimes a measure of a true friend is whether or not they’ll help you move. Miles stepped up big time for my family and me when we moved from Cottage Street to our house behind the high school.
Therefore, because of who he is and his experience with the Planning Board and the Livable Streets Committee I believe he can help lead this town into a brighter future. I fully endorse Miles Grant for Select Board as a true friend to our family and to the town of Fairhaven.
