The Fairhaven High School boy’s lacrosse team defeated Dighton-Rehoboth at home, 7-6, on 4/6/26.The Blue Devils played from behind during the beginning of athe contest, as the Falcons netted two goals to start the game. Liam Pickup tied the game at four with nine minutes to go in the fourth quarter. Fairhaven scored two goals in the next 90 seconds to build a 6-4 lead.
The Falcons clawed back to tie it up and force the game into overtime. Fairhaven dominated possession in the final frame and ultimately closed out the afternoon with Gavin Hermon’s second goal of the match.Cody Souza recorded the first two goals of the match for the Blue Devils. Liam Pickup recorded two crucial goals as well.
Following the match, the Blue Devils have a 3-2 record. Fairhaven boy’s lacrosse will be back at Alumni Stadium on Friday for a 3:45 p.m. game against the Seekonk Warriors.
