Notice of Public Hearing
The Town of Fairhaven will hold a Public Hearing at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 16th, 2026 in the Board of Public Works Conference Room, 5 Arsene Street, Fairhaven, MA 02719.
In accordance with MGL Chapter 87, Section 3. Discussion of requested removal of 18 hazardous trees located at 3 Wood Street (±36” Maple), 5 Staffon Road (±27” Ash), 7 Staffon Road (±22” Ash), 18 John Street (±26” Maple), 28 Garrison Street (±29” Maple), 30 Perry Street (±21” Maple), 30 Perry Street (±12” Maple), 45 Center Street (±23” Maple), 53 Pleasant Street (±30” Maple), 71 Harding Road (±24” Maple), 88 Chestnut Street (±16” Maple), 131 Chestnut Street (±13” Maple), 25 Fort Street (±21” Maple), 27 Fort Street (±15” Maple), 93 Laurel Street (±21” Maple), 117 Washington Street (±36” Boxelder), 29 Atlas Street (±18 Maple) and 30 Charity Stevens Lane (±26” Cherry).
Anyone opposed to the removal of these trees should do so in writing per MGL 87 at said hearing.
