Fidalgo Supports Ochoa
I am honored to write in strong support of Kelly Ochoa for School Committee. Having known her for years, I have witnessed her dedication to students, colleagues, and ethical leadership. She is not just an advocate in words but in action, always stepping up for others and making a meaningful difference in the community.
With firsthand experience working in schools, Kelly understands what students and staff truly need to succeed. She has seen the challenges educators face every day and knows the impact that thoughtful policies, and the right resources, can have on a school’s success. This insight allows her to approach decision-making with both compassion and practicality.
She also brings a valuable perspective on balancing fiscal responsibility with educational priorities. Too often, budget decisions are made without fully understanding how they affect classrooms. Kelly will bring real-world experience to these discussions, ensuring that financial choices reflect the true needs of students and staff while being mindful of the district’s resources.
Educators on school committees provide an essential voice, and Kelly is exactly the kind of leader we need.
