FREE Community outreach family fun day at Trinity Lutheran Church, 16 Temple Place, Fairhaven. Rain or Shine. Sat., 9/28, noon to 4 p.m.
Family fun with kids carnival games, prizes, temporary tattoos, Photo Booth, music, popcorn and cotton candy. If you have been looking for an outreach program for help for yourself or someone in your life or have been looking to volunteer your time the following organizations will have representatives at this event: PAACA, Veteran’s Services, Alcoholic’s Anonymous, MassHIRE, OneVoice, Samaritans Southcoast, The Women’s Center,, The Shepherd’s Pantry, Boys & Girls Club of Greater New Bedford, Meeting Street – Parents as Teachers, Gifts to Give, Whaling City Jr/Sr High School Come join us for an afternoon of music, fun and community. Nonperishable food items for the Shepherd’s Pantry and “like new” or new children’s clothes for Gifts to Give will be accepted at this event.
