Join the North End Neighborhood Association for two debates, one for the 8th Bristol District and one for the 10th Bristol District.
Both will be held at the Pulaski School auditorium, 1097 Braley Road, New Bedford, from 6–7 p.m. Free and open to the public.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early with their written questions to be posed to the candidates. This will give us time to sort through them and consolidate similar questions. We will get through as many as possible in the hour.
10th Bristol
Tues., 10/1, with Joe Pires (R), Rochester; and Mark Sylvia (D), Fairhaven. Both candidates have agreed to participate.
8th Bristol
Tues., 10/8. There are five candidates on the ballot. Three have confirmed, but we are hopeful that all five will attend.
CONFIRMED: Steven Ouellette (D), Westport; Jesse St. Gelais (U), Acushnet; Christopher Thrasher (R), Westport.
NOT CONFIRMED: Laura Hadley (U), Westport; Manuel Soares Jr. (U), Westport.
