One Nation Under God
Let us take a good look at this. A felon is not eligible to vote in the presidential elections, but we can have a president who is a felon run the country from jail.
A felon can not be a police officer, but a felon can be a president.
On many job applications you are required to have a background check to make sure you have not had any felony charges against you. But background checks are not required for someone to run for president,
In our country we pledge our allegiance under God, even if we have a president or government officials who don’t follow the moral/legal code.
1954 Current Version
“I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation Under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
Definition of Felony
A crime, typically one involving violence, regarded as more serious than a misdemeanor, and usually punishable by imprisonment for more than one year.
Is any of this making sense to you?
My fellow Americans remember this, “The choices you make, make you.”
Where is your Allegiance, that is the question?
I would like to disclose here that this is not about what president I am voting for or not voting for. This is about the principle of the matter, in general.
