Several volunteers joined Fairhaven Veterans Services Officer Brad Fish on Saturday morning, 12/4/21 to place Christmas wreaths at cemeteries in Fairhaven. At Riverside Cemetery, the volunteers placed 32 wreaths on stands at locations throughout the cemetery.

Mr. Fish thanked volunteers and a list of 21 donors, some who donated in memory of loved ones.

Mr. Fish told the group of about 10 people that this year they had 32 wreaths, and hopefully next year they will have 64.

“It’s getting bigger, bigger and better,” said Mr. Fish.

Wreaths were paid for with donations. To contribute, send check or money order to The Fairhaven Veterans Office Wreath Gift Account, 40 Center St., Fairhaven, MA 02719, for next year’s event.
