Women’s Sea Tales

New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center, Virtual event, Fri., 3/18, 7 p.m.

Author Ali Farrell, along with a dozen fishermen featured in the book, will regale you with tales about her book “Pretty Rugged: True Stories from Women of the Sea!” Tune in on Zoom at 7 PM March 18, 2022 to ask questions and hear about the experi­ences of women in a historically male-dominated industry navigating changes in gender roles within their life and work.
