Town of Fairhaven Water Department announced a voluntary water ban effective 7/18/22. Due to the lack of rain and very dry conditions along with high temperatures, the Board of Public Works is requesting voluntary outside water use restrictions until further notice. We are asking that all outside watering be done between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We are requesting an odd/even outside watering schedule. If your house or business address is an even number then you would do outside watering on even number days. If your house or business address is an odd number then you would do outside watering on odd number days. Anyone can water on the 31st.
