Ribbon Cutting & Visitor Center Re-opening, Sun., 5/1, 2:00 – 3:30 PM, 33 William St., NB.
Please join park staff as we celebrate Preservation Month with the official reopening of the park visitor center. After completion of a four-month restoration, the main bank room glistens with new 22K gold leaf trim. Ribbon cutting starts at 2. From 2:30 – 3:30 our park’s Cultural Resource Specialist, Janine da Silva, Juan Ocampo of the National Park Service Historic Preservation Training Center, and representatives of Village Green Restoration, the contractor that completed the restoration, will be on site to answer questions and related to the process of preserving this unique piece of history.
