Members of the Fairhaven Improvement Association joined forces with Fairhaven’s Veterans Services Officer Brad Fish and other volunteers to put holiday wreaths on the graves of U.S. Veterans at Riverside Cemetery in Fairhaven on Friday, 12/3/20. Each wreath has a red, white & blue ribbon, and a veterans medal with all the services represented.
Mr. Fish said his wife has been involved with Wreaths Across America, and then he teamed up with Frank Fostin from the FIA and they started the tradition last year. The organization coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery and more than 2,100 locations in all 50 states.
