Time to get crafty! The Unitarian Universalist Society of Fairhaven is offering an eight-week Crafternoons program. Sessions from 3:30 to 5 p.m. each Thursday through Nov. 20 will feature a different craft highlighting themes of Halloween and Thanksgiving. The program is for children age 7 and older.
This is the first in a series of free programs that will be offered through spring, thanks to a grant from the Mass Cultural Council.
The classes will be led by Fairhaven resident Aylin Cetik-Smith, co-director of Children’s Art Lab in Fairhaven. Cetik-Smith earned her degree from New England School of Photography.
Sign-up is required for Crafternoons. For more information, please email aylincetik@gmail.com
The building is accessible to the handicapped via a ramp off the Center Street driveway. For more information about the church, call 508-992-7081 or visit uufairhaven.org.
