As its 71st Season’s second special attraction, Your Theatre, Inc. will present two one-act plays Thursday through Saturday, February 1, 2 and 3 at 7:30 PM and Sunday, February 4 at 2:30 PM.
Lawrence R. Houbre, Jr. of New Bedford will direct Joseph Bologna’s and Rene Taylor’s delightful comedy “Mr. Lewis And Mrs. Wexel.” Edward J. Maguire of Fairhaven will direct William Saroyan’s touching drama “”Hello Out There.”

Warm Hearted Comedy
A widower invites a widow who lives in the same Florida senior citizen center, up to his apartment to see his fish. What happens next will delight and surprise the audience, who will enjoy this brief but very humorous comedy. H. B. Ussach of New Bedford will appear as Mr. Lewis; Cheryl Day of Fairhaven as Mrs. Wexel.

Heart Wrenching Drama
Photo Finish, an itinerant young gambler, is falsely arrested and jailed in a small Texas town. The only one who hears his call for justice and understanding is Emily, a young girl who cooks for the prisoners, who tries to aid in his escape before a lynching mob breaks into the jail.
Daniel Gabriel Sallom of New Bedford will appear as Photo Finish, Briana Berthiaume of New Bedford as Emily, and Nick Le Blanc of New Bedford as the alleged Wronged Husband, and Dennis Smith of Tiverton, RI as the jailer, with Melanie Crowther of Fairhaven as the accusing wife.
Performances are held at the wheelchair accessible Your Theatre, Inc. Playhouse located at 136 Rivet St. (corner of County St.), New Bedford, at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church complex. Free off-street parking entrance is on County Street.
Tickets are $12 general admission, $8 for season subscribers, and $10 for Members Council Members, senior citizens, students, and military personnel.
