Tropical Storm Isaias moved quickly through town in one day on Tuesdaym 8/4/20, bringing wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour in parts of Massachusetts, including at the Fairhaven Town Beach. Some rain accompanied the storm, but not the torrential downpours that other areas saw. At least one boat broke from its mooring in Fairhaven. Some sccattered power outages were reported on the Eversource website. Other parts of the country saw widespread outages and tornadoes causing massive damage. Western Massachusetts was under a tornado warning or watch most of the day on Tuesday.
