The Mass. Department of Environmental Protection has extended the comment period for the proposed Title 5 regulations that could result in the state forcing huge numbers of residents to replace or modify their septic systems.

Written comments will now be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on January 30, 2023. Please note that this is an extension upon the previous deadline of 5:00 p.m. on December 16, 2022. All comments submitted must include the name and contact information of the person providing the comments. Please submit comment by e-mail to dep.talks@mass.gov and include Title 5 & Watershed Permit in the subject line.
