Teddy Bear parade signals end of summer reading program

August 2, 2017 by Fairhave Neighborhood News

The Millicent Library in Fairhaven held its annual Teddy Bear parade on Wednesday, 8/1, signalling the end of the summer reading program. Children and their adults were encouraged to join the parade with their favorite Teddy Bear or other stuffed animal and walk from the lawn of the Unitarian Memorial Church to Our Lady’s Haven and back again. Residents of OLH sat outside and in windows to watch the annual trek and to hand out candy to the children.
