The North Fairhaven Improvement Association and the Legendary Street Rods Car Club held a car-truck-bike show on Sunday, 8/15/21, at Livesey Park in north Fairhaven.
In addition to featuring a whole bunch of cool cars to check out, the day included raffles, awards, music and food.
The weather was almost perfect, maybe a tad warm for some, with temperatures in the 80’s and a nice breeze throughout the day.
Almost 200 cars of all kinds joined the show, with price of admission including one canned good for the food pantry. Proceeds will benefit local veterans organizations. Food booth proceeds to benefit NFIA.
Mike Toupin was there with his 1967 Dodge Pickup, that is referred to as a “Sleeper” by many because it is powered by a Viper engine. Mr. Toupin said he always liked the look and feel of an old work pickup and that it was a finished project.
Then he added, “Well if it got a little more rusty, that’d be OK too.”
