The Special Education and Transition Services Fair will be held on Tuesday Evening 3/27, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at Fairhaven High School
The Special Education Department of Fairhaven High School will provide and host an informational fair designed to clarify the needs of students with disabilities to improve their post-high school outcomes in the area of education.
All students who currently attend Fairhaven High School who have an active IEP as well as their families, guardians, teachers, administrators, service providers and others who enrich their lives are encouraged to attend. Representatives from various colleges and agencies will be in attendance to explain the role of the Office of Disabilities at the colleges and to delineate the services that agencies offer for students. This includes UMASS, Northeast Maritime, the Department of Developmental Services, Job Corp., and the Mass. Rehabilitation Commission, and more.
