Spanish Replica Ship in New Bedford

El Galeon, the authentic wooden replica of a galleon that was part of Spain’s West Indies fleet, opens its doors in New Bedford and offers the opportunity to experience maritime history by walking the decks and wandering through the ship’s quarters.

The ship will be will be at State Pier, New Bedford, from 5/20–5/22, for tours. $10/adults, $5/children. The ship will be open from 10 a.m.–7 p.m.

The ship features: More than 3,444 feet to visit (on different decks); six decks, noble area and personnel area; Length: 164 ft.; Main beam: 33 ft.;  Draft: 10.5 ft.; three Masts, seven sails, 10.000 ft sail area
