Solto Skin + Massage Studio held an official ribbon cutting and grand opening on Friday, with town officials on hand to officially welcome the new business to town.

In addition to town officials from the Select Board, Economic Development Committee, and Community Development Department, State Rep.  Mark Sylvia attended to get Solto off to a good start.

Mr. Sylvia presented the owner, Sophia Tetreault, with a citation from the state House of Representatives.

Then Ms. Tetreault got a little help from her young nephews to cut the ribbon and get the day officially started.

In Portuguese, the term solto “sohl-toh” means “to release” or “free from restraint,” and Sophia invites everyone to explore the space she has created where you can feel free. Free to be yourself, free from the world’s stresses, and free to leave feeling revitalized and rejuvenated.

Solto is located in the center of Fairhaven at 47 Center Street, inside the Harrop Center, next to the Unitarian Memorial Church.
