A snowstorm on Tuesday, 1/30, closed Fairhaven, Acushnet and Dartmouth Schools. New Bedford delayed opening for two hours. Fairhaven got 3.8” of snow, New Bedford got 7.5”, but Acushnet hit the jackpot with 8”. The temperatures were seasonably cold in the low 30s, with a few dips into the 20’s, but not enough to keep Jack Quintin, and the Hooley siblings and their friend Mischa Tomasia from taking advantage of the sledding possibilities at Fort Phoenix.
